The underrunner disc sheller is mainly used for gentle shelling of buckwheat. Due to the built-in individual drive, it can be inserted at any time into various process lines of grain shelling plants.
Via the centrally arranged inlet, the product flows into the machine. Inside the machine there are two parallel, horizontally mounted shelling stones. The upper stone is stationary, while the lower stone rotates and is height adjustable.
With a handwheel mounted on the side of the machine, the shelling gap between the stones can be optimally adjusted also during operation. Simultaneously, the speed difference between the upper and the lower shelling stone produces a shearing effect, so that the product is shelled gently. At the same time, the intensity of the shelling degree increases due to the set distance between the stones of the underrunner disc sheller. The underrunner disc sheller is available in two different sizes.
Advantages of the underrunner disc sheller:
- Gentle treatment of the product
- Easy operation and maintenance
- Vibration-free and low-noise operation
The husked mixture obtained after shelling is fed into the sorting process. Here, machines such as an aspiration channel for husk removal are used, and machines such as the table separator are used for re-sorting the husked mixture consisting of husked and unhusked product.
